Documentary Description

With perhaps two weeks left in the season and 300 loads left to move, the truckers face a new challenge: the volcanic eruption of Mount Redoubt, which has grounded all air traffic and shut down the state's oil refineries. The Dalton Highway is left as the North Slope's only supply route for the time being. Jack, Lisa, Hugh and Alex all get hit with major mechanical malfunctions as the ice is thinning and the seasons is rushing to a close
