Documentary Description This film follows Hitler's last days, when he made preparations to escape from war-ravaged Berlin along with his longtime mistress, Eva Braun. Hitler (1889-1945), the German dictator and head of the National Socialist Party (Nazis), married Eva Braun shortly before their presumed deaths. The scandal of their liaison was in part responsible for Hitler's crumbling support in Germany. Did the couple commit suicide, or did they escape? When the tides of the war turned against Germany, its leader fled, hiding with Eva Braun in his secret stronghold called the Fuhrerbunker. With the help of graphic reconstructions and Eva Braun's personal photographs, the viewer learns the real facts and interesting speculation surrounding their deaths.
