Rising out of the East in the 4th and 5th centuries, the Huns were
known for their horsemanship and skill in warfare. Led by the legendary
Attila, the Scourge of God, their military prowess led to the creation
of the Great Wall of China and brought the Roman Empire to the brink of
destruction. Ultimately, only malaria could bring an end to their reign
of terror, as Attila, on his wedding night, drowned in his own blood.
