Documentary Description

This part of the series looks at how various cultures have treated body  parts (the bound feet of Chinese women, the elaborate tattoos of Tahitian men)  and tells or speculates on why. (Severely deformed female feet seem to do  something for Chinese male libidos.) Men given to Western fashions will learn  that they wear their hair short (well, most of them) because Roman soldiers  didn't want it grabbed in close combat.
