Link to The universe: (S1): 2- Mars, the red planet documentary
Documentary Description
Via a meticulously-selected combination of outer space footage,
state-of-the-art CG graphics and informed scientific discussion, the History Channel
documentary series The Universe investigates various aspects of the
cosmos, with each episode devoted to one particular subtopic. Per its
title, the episode "Mars the Red Planet" journeys to the planet widely
regarded as most topographically similar to the Earth, with the
exception of odd features such as a massive, towering volcano - the
largest one in the Solar System. The program speculates on the evidence
that demonstrates the potential existence of life on Mars (such as
frozen water buried beneath the soil), and the possibility of human
colonization on Mars if the Earth becomes uninhabitable thanks to
global warming.
